The elements that characterize the course of the lessons are a pianistic personality development, the knowledge of the timbrico-dynamic reports, the instrumental fineness, control and passion. Bruno Mereu learned these principles from Siavush Gadjiev, one of the most representative teachers of the post-war historical Russian school.

The dialogue with the student, an essential element to understand his personality, leads to the choice of the repertoire to study. Particular attention is paid to the approach of the hand, and of the whole body to the keyboard, in order to achieve mastery and maximum freedom of expression, which will be then at the service of the style of each composer and his historical period.
