Bruno Mereu graduated with honors from Music Conservatory “Niccolò Paganini” in Genoa. In 2009 he was admitted to the master class held by Siavush Gadjiev, at SCGV Emil Komel. In the same year he managed to perform with the Sydney Chamber Orchestra on occasion of the only Italian performance of their European tour, directed by Imre Pallò. In the following years he performed in many concerts directed by famous artists like O. Balan, Fabrizio Callai, Marco Feruglio, Lorenzo Tazzieri.

Meanwhile he attended several master class courses held by Lazar Berman, Boris Bloch, Boris Petrushansky, Mikhail Voskresensky, Sergio Perticaroli, Andrea Lucchesini, Filippo Gamba, Fabio Bidini. In 2013, he was admitted to the International Piano Academy of Imola, where he studied with Enrico Pace. In 2014 he entered the “Talent Music Master Courses”.

He performed at Mozart’s and Liszt’s anniversaries, which were broadcasted by important national radio stations. He was the protagonist of the first Italian performance of Steve Reich with the Eutopia Ensemble, broadcasted by Radio3. In 2015 he was accepted at the International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn. In 2016 he was invited at the prestigious Ravello Festival and in 2017 by the Accademia Filarmonica Romana to perform a recital for the execution of the complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas.
